Stormwater Practice Sizing Options

This section presents options for sizing stormwater treatment practices to prevent flooding, reduce channel erosion, meet pollutant removal goals, and maintain groundwater recharge. The remaining sections describe the four sizing criteria in detail and present guidance on how to properly compute and apply the required storage volumes. It is important to note that often multiple criteria can be met with one treatment practice.

In the remaining sections we describe in detail options to meet these goals.A default sizing criteria is selected for each practice. In each section we also present Tools of Analysis for each criterion.
