Together, these files contain the complete text of the Center for Watershed Protection's Stormwater Practices for Cold Climates, which is no longer available in print. The document explores some of the challenges of cold climates, such as freezing temperatures and high runoff during snowmelt events, and their influence on the effectiveness of traditional stormwater practice designs. Included are descriptions on modifications that can be made to traditional practices to make them more effective in these environments. Combined files are approximately 43 pages, not including appendices.
